This is one of my favorite places to dine. They offer a variety of menu choices at a reasonable price. My servers are always friendly and fast. The cooks definitely know what people like, perfectly cooked food. Thank you for your excellent service😃

Great old style dinner. Very interesting eclectic atmosphere. The portions were generous for the rice bowls - salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. Recommended and we would come back for sure!

My partner, who was living in SC years ago assured me that this place was good, he tried everything on the menu. Sadly, it was almost 10 years ago.We ordered lemonade as drinks. Never drank something so sweet, it made our taste buds burn, even when watered down.My partner took the "house-made specialty" yankee pot roast. They pretend it's slow cooked, we never had a meat so dry before, even with the sauce. Tasteless dry plate, a shame to call "specialty". I took a burger, you have to dress it yourself and that's a poor move considering you have to see the bottom of your meat, who was completely burnt. The burger tasted just burnt, I didn't finish it. Considering the fact that those meals were terrible, we didn't order dessert and just had the check. Staff is friendly enough at least. And there's also teenagers on drugs on the parking lot, that's the sad reality of what Santa Cruz has become.
